She is an expert in animal ethics and animal abuse and has published extensively in the fields of critical animal studies, green criminology, and environmental sociology. She has been the recipient of several grants, awards, and fellowships in recognition of her scholarship, most recently Harvard University\u2019s Animal Law and Social Policy Fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Dr. Fitzgerald will be working with two graduate students to assess the emerging ethical concerns with using genomics tools to assess fish health and the ensuing selection of fish phenotypes to maximize adaptability.
