His lab has published extensively on the introduction processes of AIS, as well as genomic factors driving invasion success. MacIsaac\u2019s work has contributed to global changes in ballast water regulations and he continues to be widely consulted for his expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Dr. MacIsaac\u2019s role in GEN-FISH will be to validate the application of the Fish Survey Toolkit for the presence and impact of invasive freshwater fish species in Canada.
