She serves on the Great Lakes Fishery Commission Sea Lamprey Research Board and the Freshwater Fishes Subcommittee of the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada (COSEWIC). Her work on eDNA markers is helping government agencies monitor aquatic invasive species and fish species of economic and conservation concern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">With the help of six graduate students funded by the GEN-FISH program, Dr. Docker will be able to help develop robust and reliable eDNA markers for the detection and quantification of Canadian freshwater fishes.
